腊月中下旬，人们也就陆陆续续地去准备年货。孩子们个个兴高采烈地挑选新衣服，买鞭炮什么的玩意儿，还买了一大堆好吃的。而大人们也不停地准备糖果、瓜子、花生、开心果、饮料、鸡、鹅、爆竹、桔子等等。
年二十八，更为忙碌。俗语“年甘八，洗邋遢”。家家户户都大扫除，大人们忙得手忙脚乱，把屋子清理后，还要洗鞋子、椅子、被子，把家里布置得焕然一心。到处散发着新年的味道。人们通常都去行花街。俗话说“花开富贵”啊！花街上摆满了各种各样的花，五彩缤纷，千紫万红，使我应接不暇。花随风摇曳，翩翩起舞，空气里充满了浓郁的香味。菊花傲然怒放，数百朵小菊花环绕簇拥，争妍斗芳；百合花就如同在张大嘴巴笑哈哈，美丽而高贵；郁金香就如一个杯子，艳丽得叫人睁不开眼睛，完美得让人透不过气来……

虽说大年初一才是正式的春节，但除夕一早，大家就准备过春节喽。大人们开始炖肉、包饺子、做鱼、煎年糕，直到了下午5：30才准备就绪。6：00，正式开饭，今天的年夜饭异常丰盛，有饺子、红烧肉、鱼、炸元宵、煮汤圆、肉丸、煎年糕······
开饭了，大家庆祝春节的到来，窗外响起一首儿歌“二十三，糖瓜粘；二十四，扫房日；二十五，把面发；二十九，蒸馒头；三十晚上守一宿，大年初一扭一扭。”这首充满年味的歌谣写出了过春节的习俗气氛。八点钟左右，大人们将春联、福字贴在门上，大门上的春联是“虎啸风声远，龙腾海浪高”。是由我来写的呢。我们将电视打开看，观看今天的春节联欢晚会，大人开始为12点的饺子做准备。节目“龙凤呈祥”很不错，我很喜欢。
十点多，我和哥哥们、爸爸、伯父下楼放鞭炮。除了长长的爆竹耀眼灿烂的烟花，还有“芭蕉扇”、“金字塔”、“生日帽”花炮等。我最喜欢握在手里冲天放的花炮了；双手擎好，点火后过一会儿，会放出一个个的礼花，朝天上开，礼花飞到四、五层楼高的地方，就散成五彩缤纷的颗粒状，四散开来。“满天星”也很好看：这是一个10多厘米高的圆锥状小礼花，置放在地上，点火后会有许多很小的，但数量很多的小粒粒喷出来，红的似火、黄的明亮如月、粉的似霞、蓝的似海……五颜六色被喷射出来，好看极了。
12点一到我们就开始互相拜年，按照习俗，小辈向长辈拜完年后长辈要给压岁钱，我收到许多压岁钱。我们拜完年又开始吃饺子了。
今年的春节有些不同，今年没有“年三十”，不过我们依然过了一个团圆、欢乐、喜庆的春节。

1、乒乓球比赛：
比赛分混合团体赛和个人赛，混合团体赛以支部为单位，选派三名队员参加（两男一女），赛前确定第一单打和第二单打，女队员为第三单打，报当场主裁判，上报后不得更改。比赛采取五场三胜制，先取得三场胜利的队伍获胜。每场对阵单局11分制“三局两胜”。比赛设冠军一名、亚军一名、季军两名，采取淘汰制，以抽签决定对阵。
个人赛设男子个人和女子个人，比赛采取预赛和决赛两个阶段，预赛阶段采取单循环制，胜率最高的前四名进入决赛，决赛采取淘汰制（抽签决定对阵），比赛采取11分制，预赛阶段三局两胜制，决赛采取五局三胜制。比赛设冠军一名、亚军一名、季军两名，参与奖若干。
2、扑克比赛：
以科室为单位组队参加，分“五十k”队和“打棒”队，参赛队必须指定一人为队长，比赛前由双方队长协商比赛的具体规则，根据协商后的规则决出胜负。比赛采取淘汰制（抽签决定对阵），每种玩法都设冠军一名、亚军一名、季军两名。
3、拔河比赛：
比赛以支部为单位组队参赛，每队上场队员8人，5男3女（含班子成员最少1人），比赛采取单败淘汰制（抽签决定对阵），比赛设冠军一名、亚军一名、季军一名、参与奖一名。注意事项：拔河比赛有一定的对抗性，参加的运动员要量力而行，保证安全。
4、谜语闯关：
活动于2019年12月31日下午在中心十楼会议室举行，参加活动的每人可以抽取两条谜语，回答出其中一条谜语的谜底就可以获得一份纪念奖，两条谜语都答对可以获得三等奖一份，此时可以开启闯关模式，连续答对四条谜语可以获得二等奖一份，答对六条可以获得一等奖一份，但是只要是答错了就只能获得纪念奖一份。每条谜语的答题时间为半分钟。
5、大鹏送福
活动由中心工会提供春联纸，邀请王鹏为大家书写春联和福字，有意者可以向王鹏申请。

dusk was just falling as i slurped up the last bit of rice and laid down my chopsticks.
“they're starting!” cried my friend excitedly. “quick! quick!”
outside, children were running everywhere. their happy voices and faces made me warm inside, despite the cold wind that greeted me. my friend thrust a bundle of straw in my hands. “come!” he cried. i giggled as i ran to catch up to him; the children's excitement was a fever that spread to even the big kids like us.
i soon joined a rowdy bunch of children and teenagers who were building a bonfire in the middle of a path that ran through the wheat fields. “here,”said my friend, handing me a long bamboo pole. “put some of your straw in the fire. then tie the rest onto your pole like this.” he demonstrated with his own materials, and i followed his example. then he thrust both our torches into the fire and handed me mine. “now run!”
and run i did----we all did. for miles and miles around, as far as i could see, there were small orange specks scattered about, and i could hear the distant screaming and laughing of other children running up and down the rice field path. for several hours into the night i helped build fires and keep an eye on the younger children. occasionally i, too, lit a torch and ran around like a mad man, screaming and waving a flaming bamboo pole.
this festival, which occurred six days before chinese new year, was just one of the experiences during the visit to my friends over the spring festival. as it was explained to me, the purpose behind this festival was to allow the children to have fun burning up all the straw leftover after the harvest. later, the ash is used for fertilizer.
