specialize in network engineering in an enterprise environment. this role will provide network operational support for shanghai factory and nearby logistic facilities. the engineer will ensure compliance to established system architecture, regulations and security policies, follow standards and best practices, and author and maintain support documentation.
responsibilities:
primarily responsibility network operations, function as tier-1 & 2
participate in projects as network engineering role includes implementation, test/validation, and maintain networking services per solution design
monitor and report metrics of network services
document network operations “run-book”
must be able to work occasional weekends and after hours
must be able to travel occasionally
must be able to work around construction environment and transport/lift network equipment
participate on call rotation
have e_perience of cabling system, including copper and fiber system design and implementation.
qualifications:
5+ years of mid-size enterprise networking e_periences
e_perience level knowledge of ip networking, l2/l3 network protocols (spanning tree, ospf), lan/wan, tcp/ip, dhcp, dns, qos, vlan, acl, snmp, syslog, vpn, application data flow
e_perience with juniper e_ and sr_ platform, palo alto networks firewall, and aruba wireless.
e_perience with structural cabling infrastructure
e_perience with troubleshooting wireless connection issues related wireless coverage, clients, and rf environmental
beginning to intermediate level e_perience with automation tools and scripting
proficient in microsoft office (word, e_cel, powerpoint, visio), solarwinds ipam & npm, opengear oob management, splunk (syslog), aruba airwave, netscout wired/wireless tools, wireshark

requirement
