1、the product engineer is responsible for the coordination and, if necessary, for the implementation of advanced product quality planning (apqp) according to checklists.

2、the product engineer is in charge of developing the product quality planning together with customers and suppliers. in this case, checking procedures (e.g. test plan) have to be defined, documented and brought into agreement with customers and suppliers. moreover the product engineer is responsible for developing the measuring programs (e.g. 3d measure machine) or for having them developed and for optimizing the e_isting test runs. furthermore the packing instructions have to be documented after being brought into agreement with the customers or suppliers.
